An equipment evaluation will review all medical imaging equipment greater than $10,000 in value, as well as service contracts and service history to evaluate obsolescence and serviceability. A capacity and equipment analysis will evaluate each modality to determine daily operating capacity and performance. Regents will evaluate the status of PACS, RIS, VRT systems and include recommendations for those systems along with recommendations to reallocate equipment and space resources, optimize capacity and outline a plan to add, upgrade or decommission equipment as part of a five-year plan for capital equipment.
