Brian Baker

Brian BakerAs President, Brian Baker’s primary focus is on the development of new outpatient imaging centers and repositioning outpatient services for our clients. With the increasing opportunities provided by information technology in healthcare, Brian is also responsible for developing product lines and information solutions to meet the needs of Regents’ clients.

With over twenty years of Diagnostic Imaging and Healthcare Technology experience, Brian has dedicated himself to solving some of healthcare’s challenges from new and sometimes different perspectives. His successful experience has included many elements in healthcare from Engineering and Product Marketing, to Sales and Executive Management. Of note is the key role he played in the development, sales, and implementation of a $1.5 billion long-term healthcare product and service agreement, which stands today as the largest of its type ever in the healthcare industry.

Prior to joining Regents, Brian started and ran a division of the nation’s largest healthcare construction company, Turner Construction, as the General Manager within Logistics, for the Medical & Research Solutions Group. Their charter was to strategically plan, implement, and procure the healthcare technology within Turner’s healthcare building projects for selected clients.

Brian gained his diverse experience by working with some of today’s most recognizable healthcare companies such as GE Medical Systems and Philips Medical Systems in various roles of increasing responsibility. His clinical environment experience includes Hospital Corporation of America where he helped implement a national Biomedical Service program reducing service and maintenance costs for HCA along with his role as Vice President for a surgery center development company. He also successfully created, ran and sold two private sector small businesses one of which was based in healthcare. While holding his radiologic technology license in Florida, he developed and taught clinical education courses in Radiology.

Brian has completed numerous technology training programs focused in diagnostic imaging while also receiving Six Sigma training at GE. Today, in addition to his role with Regents, Brian volunteers with the Center for Practical Health Reform as an advisor for healthcare technology and will be published this fall in a new book by Dr. Richard Reece, titled “Key Under The Radar Innovations impacting The Health System”.

"Regents helped us improve our customer service and efficiency, which has resulted in an increase in patient and referring physician satisfaction. Without the help of Regents’ experienced team of consultants, those physicians and their patients would have gone to competing imaging centers and hospitals, costing the hospital hundreds of thousands in lost revenues."
